  • Ursa Major Learning Services and Center is a non-profit organization based in Kingsville, Ontario, providing educational day programming and day support to adults living with disabilities in Essex County.

    Our mission is to create a learning center and place of fun that provides a genuine educational and learning environment for individuals with disabilities.

    We promote independence, empower individuals to create their own sense of personal responsibility, and create community and social connections.

    Our programming philosophy emphasizes the integration of fun and leisure into the educational components of each day, making learning more effective.

    Our program focuses on communication, personal safety, independent living, personal care, daily living skills, work skills, and daily interactions.

    Our program is designed to help develop social, work, and life skills while building conversations, social relationships, and community skills.

    We believe in fostering self-advocacy skills and creating meaningful ties to the community through active involvement.
